You begin with a four-class crash course in the traditional Method Acting system of Konstantin Stanislavski, as well as the aprocahes of those who followed in his footsteps, such as Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, and Sanford Meisner. Lesly believes it is important that you learn the language, theory, and execution of these foundational techniques of actor training prior to learning her state-of-the art approach, which is a significant departure from the classical techniques and far more relevant to the kind of work actors are required to do today. For example, traditional methods assume actors have weeks or months of preparation time. Today’s actors are lucky to have overnight.
The Comedy Intensive
This is Lesly’s holistic, exclusive approach to actor training. In these four classes you will learn an entirely different set of skills, vocabulary, and performance that will ultimately enable you to book work as an actor!
Each class is around four hours long but could go longer. All times are Pacific.

The Acting Essentials costs $895. A deposit of 50% ($447.50) secures your spot, and the remaining balance is due one week before the course begins; alternatively, you are welcome to pay in full when adding the intensive to your cart. If choosing to pay a deposit, the remaining balance is due no later than one week before the first day of class. If you miss that payment, you will be charged an additional processing fee of $25.00.
