Acting Essentials

Talent is great, but it can only take you so far. The catering industry is chock-full of talented actors. You must be talented AND skilled.

Lesly specifically designed the Acting Essentials to serve those with little to no acting training or experience. If you’re a lawyer, a fifth grade teacher, or a roofer, you’re welcome to take this class.

You could also be a talented stand-up comic, have improvised forever, be a famous football player, or have made a zillion commercials. Unfortunately, these particular skills  are not the ones required to book acting work.

In Acting Essentials, you’ll first learn the acting techniques of all the great, dead, method acting teachers. Then, you’ll learn how to actually book acting work!

This class is taught by LK & Co. faculty. During the Comedy Intensive portion of this course, actors are required to work in every class and to rehearse every day in between. Participants 18 and over are welcome.
